The 'Dips' at New Brighton are again to be the venue for Wirral’s annual Kite Festival,

In 2011 Wirral will again welcome kite flyers from Britain and across the world to attend the Wirral International Kite Festival on 11th & 12th June at The Dips, New Brighton

The event will take place from 11 am to 4.30pm and ia a two day event for all the family with a variety of spectacular show kites on display, including artistic kites, giant inflatable kites, sports kites and power kites. There will also be a kite-making workshop for all those have-a-go fliers! The cost for the Kite Making workshop will be donated to Vision4Children. There is also a children's funfair, trade stands and food court.

The event taking place from 11 am to 4.00pm is a two day event for all the family with a variety of spectacular show kites on display, including artistic kites, giant inflatable kites, sports kites and power kites. There will also be a kite-making workshop for all those have-a-go fliers! The cost for the Kite Making workshop will be £1.50. There is also a children's funfair, trade stands and food court.

Road Directions

Exit the M53 at jct 1 and follow the signs for New Brighton.

Exiting the Wallasey Tunnel, follow the signs for Liscard and New Brighton (A554).

Exiting the Birkenhead Tunnel follow the signs for Wallasey, Liscard and the New Brighton (A554).
